Artistic Statement

 

The re-construction of the self through the exploration of our relationships with the lively and unanimated objects.

Trying to use a pragmatic yet intuitive observation and its post analysis of our reactions with the whole and its content, from the general to the particular.

Leading, hopefully, to a process of de-codification of all assumed roles during our life path, voluntary or involuntary reactions we manifest from our particular role/s, to all stimuli we face daily. Meaning being conscious, not of the actions per se, but of the whys of those whats.

It’s only after this that I expect from myself, to happen a disposal of the actual being, undoing conduction patterns imposed or suggested by our school, society, friends, society, etc. Rescuing the necessary only to move forward.

 

In conclusion, is about trying to project with my contours and colors the desire of to raise the awareness about who are we as human beings and our different roles assumed through our lives, we might not be who we think.

 

A search of the original self behind all that is around us, mainly behind our interaction with ourselves, the others, with it all, to finally reach the you without “you”.
